The fundraiser

I had to help with a fundraiser for the U8 soccer players. I was trying to encourage people to get their faces painted and play games so that we could get money for the players. It was a day that everyone seemed to enjoy.

Registration Day

Registration Day was a busy day. Everyone wanted to come in and get their child registered. I don't know if I've ever seen so many people in one place. I had many questions thrown my way and i was happy that I could answer them all. I even helped some people with the paper work.

The tournament organiser

I had to help organise a tournament. it is not that hard, it just takes time. I had to set the times for ALL the games and make sure that times were not double booked. It was an experience.

Concession stand

Working in the concession stand was very fun. I had to take peoples orders and get them what they wanted. I also had friends to help and to talk to which made it even more fun. This can help me with my business career.

Being a Referee ;)

I was shocked when coach Nigel told me that he needed me to be a referee. I had never done that before. I had to ref the U4 games. This was a lot easier then refing reguler games because they do not hav as many rules, but never the less, it is still a challenge. Those 4 year plds have so much energy! I was running up and down the field trying to keep up with them and ref the game farely. I hope I do it again

Green Day

The earth is somethin that we should take care of and not destroy. After all, it is where we live. At the soccer park we had Green Day. I helped to tell people about how they can help the earth and be more eco friendly. I also passed out water and picked up trash around the park.

Coaching

I coached the U6 kids and it was a blast! I helped them do drills and even ran with them. We even played a game where they had to pass the balls to each other and keep it away from the other players. The best part is, Coach Nigel said that I did a very good job and that I can do it again.
